This year my Baba( that means Dad in Farsi ) and I have taken up gardening. Something we haven’t done since 2007, so we were a little rusty! Well it’s 2013 …..and we FINALLY have gotten the hang of it! WE planted tomatoes, bell peppers, rosemary, mint, watermelons, basil, lavender, and corn. WHEW! Mommy has officially given me the nickname Pilgrim because she doesn’t know of anyone who just decides to plant corn in their back yard. I am really happy with my Baba’s and my progress with the tomatoes blooming and corn sprouting and all, but I CANNOT WAIT until everything have fully grown so we can start cooking with fresh veggies and herbs !
